Just a quick post today, as I am preparing for a show this weekend at Trereife Park, where I will have a stand selling my jewellery.

Today I am sharing a small bit of my new work. I have recently been working on stone setting of various types and also started doing some lost wax casting. The rings below are made using the technique and I call the range “Molten”. I am really chuffed with these, they have real organic quality and I love the chunkiness of them. I will also be starting to set stones into these kinds of rings and overlay with more metal as well, so keep looking back for more! There will also be pieces with set stones soon.

Anyway, back to prep for the weekend, hope the weather is on our side and we have a great one! Hope you do too!

Hi all,

I really must post more often! I am currently living in a suitcase in between houses so jewellery making and indeed writing blog postings are not as easy as before! My partners sister is kindly putting us up until we buy our house in Cornwall, so I am a little bit limited in the work I can do. I have, however, been making simple wire wrapped bohemic rings with a multitude of gemstones and these have proven a big hit at fairs and shows during the summer. The rings are based on an Eni Oken tutorial, great as ever. Just thought I’d share a picture of some of them. These rings will be available in my online shop later in the year, but for now they are only available at the events I am at this summer. Let me know what you think of them!

Just a quick post to remind those who are local that this weekend is the Designer Arts and Crafts Fair at Sudeley Castle (14th and 15th of June 2008). A great selection of wares will be on display so will be well worth a visit. I will be offering my usual range of jewellery; necklaces, pendants, bracelet and earrings and for this event I will also have new silver and gemstone wrapped rings on offer, so come and check them out! There will be a special show price on these as they are new to my range and they will eventually go on to the web site for sale as well.

We will be located at the Falconry Lawn by the Castle and since this event is on at the same time as the Sudeley Hot Air Ballooning Grand Prix there will be more to see than arts and crafts! The designer arts and crafts marquee is open between 10am and 7pm.
